Cultural Day

6/21/2013

We celebrated Day of the African Child at school last week by having a cultural day. Learners were invited to dress in their traditional clothes and we had an assembly with traditional songs and dances from different groups. The video below is a clip of traditional Ovambo dancing. Ovambos are the largest cultural group in Namibia, although there are many others as well. Hope you can hear the drums and clapping in the background!
